WE ARE MONITORING THE STORM and may make a last-minute change to the meeting date depending on the conditions. We will plan on Friday if it's just rain but will move to Saturday, 3/4 if we get significant accumulation or icing on the roads. Please check your email and/or the Facebook event for updates. 

 

We're collecting your entries for Deathmash, the MCM quarterly comp (any Deathmash Style), and the National Homebrew Competition.  This month's featured style is Irish Extra Stout so bring your version to receive a point to the MCM HBOTY.

In education, we have got a special guest who will be overviewing next month's style Czech Amber & Czech Dark Lager. Additionally, we're planning on doing a triangle taste test for Brulosophy.

Celebrity Deathmash Judging/Awards

We encourage everyone to attend the Celebrity Deathmash judging and awards ceremony on Saturday, March 11th. Judging sessions start in the morning at 9:30 and a second session is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm and should be wrapped up by mid-afternoon. After judging, you can cheer on your fellow Mahsers and hopefully collect some hardware! Judges and stewards are always needed so please register online if you're able to help out.

 

MCM Bowling Outing

MCM's biggest fundraiser is back! The 2023 bowling outing is now scheduled for Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 (with the possibility of moving it back one week to the 29th). The officers have already secured some pretty amazing raffle items (Spike, Tilt, Briess, Hopsteiner, Omega, Imperial, Five Star, and more) so you won't want to miss this event! We will send out a Facebook event and additional information as it comes available. For now, we encourage you to put together a team or 3 of bowlers and get ready for a great event.

 

MCM Homebrewer of the Year

The 2023 MCM HBOTY race is underway! Entries are due this month for our first quarterly competition. You can submit any Deathmash style but pick your best as there's only one entry per member. For our monthly brewing point, you'll need to have brewed an example of an Irish Extra Stout.
