Styles, rules, and current point tally
This month’s tasting is Mead (M1* – M4*)
If you made a Mead of any kind, be sure to bring it to the meeting for people to taste and a point towards the 2019 Homebrewer of the Year tally.
With only a couple weeks until Mead Cup (Oct 19) we’re still looking for volunteers to participate as judges/stewards and volunteers with event setup and breakdown. Use those links to sign up. We need volunteers!!
We tried this for the first time last month and it seemed to go…ok.
We had one taker and the feedback was positive overall. We’ll give it another couple tries.
Starting at 6:30pm in some area of Downey’s taproom Gail, Jeff Chase, and myself will be ready to taste your beer and offer honest, critical feedback. The intent is to have an honest discussion of your beer if you think there may be issues. Have your recipe and process ready.
The November meeting will be on the SECOND Friday of the month, the 8th.
Taster Glasses and T-Shirts
Shirts and Hoodies will be handed out at the meeting. We’ll also have taster glasses for sale. Get one for $3 or two for $5
